LIVE SESSION AVAILABLE FOR FREE DOWNLOAD, THANKS TO GRAND NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Last night, we had the immense pleasure of guesting on the Grand National Championships show on WMNF Tampa.  Alastair, one of the hosts, did a kick-ass job of capturing the unwieldy beast that is our live sound in the WMNF studios, and we want you to have it!  Click the photo above to get a FREE DOWNLOAD!!!! Two songs are off of our latest EP, “Bitter Painter,” and the other two (Coelacanth and As the Crow Flies) will be released on our full-length album.  There are also quite a few more sessions from other really rad Florida bands you can stream and download. Needless to say, we are incredibly honored to join the digitized ranks of so many wonderful talents.  We hope to see you soon, wherever you are!

With much love,

Bard and Mustache, scrape rock pioneers

“MORE WHERE THAT CAME FROM” Release of Official Music Video, Tour East Coast

It’s Official - we’ve got a record coming out and we’re getting married

Plain and simple.

Today, we got the go-ahead from the bots for the digital release of “Bitter Painter,” which drops August 21st, 2012 on iTunes and Amazon.

Damn, it’s going to feel so good!

Also, we got engaged. But we have a lot of touring to do before we actually tie the knot.  We have yet to find a new last name, at the very least.

So, we’re booking the fall 2012 version of “Yet Another Dream Tour” up the east coast and plotting our year-long “New Last Name Tour” to accompany our full length album in summer 2013.

Yeah!

For a stroll down memory lane, we’ve kept track of our past tours on our “SHOWS” page - if you happen to dust off photos from any of those shows, email them to us and we’ll post them here!

Our EP Release/Engagement Party is confirmed for August 25, 2012 at one of our favorite venue spots, Sarasota Lanes.

We’ll see you out there, folks. LET’S COSMIC BOWL.

(Made in 1985 Remix) time - More Where That Came From

One of our finest and most talented of friends, Scott Braun of Soulo Visual (psst! he’s also our primary photographer) whipped us up a tasty big remix of our new song, “More Where That Came From.”  Our respective tops blew right off.  Check it out!

The original version of the song can be streamed and downloaded here from Mixtape Muse.

T.E.O.T.D.T.R.E.C.M.B.B.

Bard and Mustache’s favorite ingenue/absurdist, John Lichtenstein, the man behind The End of the Dial Tone Radical Experimental Collaborative Music Band Band (or T.E.O.T.D.T.R.E.C.M.B.B., for short) has invited both Bard and Mustache to play guitar in the next installment of his tidal-wave-of-a-multimedia-art-jam series May 21, 2012 at the Gator Club in downtown Sarasota, FL.  We’re going to get DOWN.
